This is always our first stop for plants. Highly recommended! You have to drive way out to Loganville, but the prices are worth the trip. They update their website daily to reflect what’s in stock, and if you follow them on Facebook they always have deals/sales going on.

A building materials reuse center in SW Atlanta. Volunteers assist in collecting building materials that would otherwise be headed to a landfill. We bought a few antique doors from them that match the original doors in our house. One day we hope to use them in an attic extension. They also give a 10% discount to people in the 30310 zip code.

Massee Lane Gardens
Massee Lane Gardens are the 100+ acre gardens of the American Camellia Society. They are located just south of Macon, so it is a day trip from Atlanta. Go in the early spring to see their huge collection of camellias in bloom and take home a plant of your own. (We did!)

Randall Brothers is an Atlanta institution. Founded in 1885, they still offer moulding and millwork that you can’t find anywhere else. I always feel like I’m stepping back in time when we go there. You can’t shop here on a budget, but if you have an old house and want original moulding just suck it up and go to Randall Brothers. Don’t waste your time at the big box stores.
